MADK 30
Blackbooks were like sacred relics for us back in the day. Carefully and meticulously crafted, these books compiled pre-wall sketches, in-progress styles, hand made slaps and handstyles from new homies you’d meet in the adventure.
Tomorrow I’ll be pulling out old Blackbooks that haven’t seen the light of day in 20-25+ years. Since I’m in a good nostalgic mood, bring your old Blackbook and get in free! Yep, we’re going in tomorrow, so come through!!

Reflections
On a high from this weekend’s official kick off for Biorthyms! Unending gratitude for showing up and showing out, for real. Love to all my kinfolk and peoples, this one’s for the memory books!!

Biorhythms is now out!
It’s been an absolute roller coaster these last couple of days without phone service. Alot of crazy logistics and last minute things with limited means to communicate, despite many months of smooth sailing. A tremendous high to learn that the event is sold out then realizing there are still many folks who are now unable able to get in. Then, last night as I was leaving rehearsal, my chair just decided to not work on the bus. It’s been a rough 24 hours, but miraculously, a dear technician friend was able to come by this morning and swapped out my controller to the battery, and as of this afternoon, am able to move around. Thoughts raced through my mind.. would we have to cancel?.. would I have to be carried to the show?… just running through as many scenarios and trying to measure the best outcome. ..Sometimes, not everything can be calculated and you just have to move accordingly.. but the show must go on, and I couldn’t be more thankful. Thankful to be in community with some of the most amazing musicians, the most amazing family and the most amazing friends. Thank you for supporting Jesse and I in our musical journey. Thank you for the love and support Seattle- see you tonight!!! PS- Biorhythms is now available on Bandcamp!! ONE LOVE
