A little bittersweet that we celebrate the incredible journey of Mid Century Modern ‘s debut “Stolen Moments” two year anniversary just two days before the late great Nes Rodriguez’s life celebration.

Nes was an avid supporter of MCM and was instrumental in helping us get the incredible push we received. In a short time we were able to peak at #7 on NACC Top Hip Hop, #1 Most Added on NACC Top Hip Hop Adds, #1 on RapAttackLives, #7 on Urban Influencer Rap Charts, KEXP’s “Song of the Day” and spins on over 50 stations across the states.

We traveled the US and Europe with this push, and when we moved to Los Angeles, Nes immediately started connecting dots, people and places with us, welcoming us like we were a piece of home returned.

I am so grateful to have been able to call my hometown hero a friend in the process and just hope he is looking down proudly as we move to keep his legacy alive. You are missed dearly, Unc. We look forward to celebrating and honoring you this Friday at Washington Hall.
